lyrics

The vocal part of the song is the Sthayi (opening verse) of ‘Aao Balma’ a famous hindustani Bandhish, originally composed by Ustad Inayat Hussain Khan and popularised in different forms by Padmabhushan Ustad Ghulam Mustafa Khan and Oscar winning composer A.R.Rahman through Coke Studio sessions. The meaning of the Sthayi is ‘Come my love, my heart becomes restless without the sight of you’).
